Founded in 2000, Taipei, Airiti Inc. (Airiti) adheres to the philosophy of
innovation of Chinese Knowledge service and has specialized in the mechanism of
copyright collection/management and digitization service. Till now, Airiti has
successfully integrated various Chinese knowledge contents into digitalization
and provide the innovative, value-added and online services.
Digital content databases and application software system are Airiti two main
product lines. The database products include subjects in art, periodical,
academic dissertation, and eBooks with many national prizes. To date, Airiti is
not only servicing users in Asian region but we are reaching users from the
four corners of the world.

Feb - “The Historical Image Database-- Taiwan Memory” went live for
business
Mar - “The World Fine Arts Database” went live for business
May - Authorized to put National Palace Museum online as part of “The World
Fine Arts Database”.
Jun - Authorized by the Council for Cultural Affairs to host the program of
“National Repository of Culture Heritage”which started airiti's content
digitization business.
Nov - “The World Fine Art Database” was ranked by the Industrial Development
Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs as the “2002 Excellent Digital
Content Products”.
Nov - “The Historical Image Database--Taiwan Memory” was ranked by the Overseas
Chinese Affairs Commission as the Champion of “2002 Overseas Chinese Excellency
in Nomination of the Chinese Language Educational Software”
Dec - Completed the simulation for“ Digital Museum of the
Weaving Handicraft Hall of the Taichung County Culture Center ”
Dec - Completed the “Digital Archive of the National Science and Technology
Museum ” .
Dec - Won contract again from the Council for Cultural Affairs
to perform the program of “the National Repository of Culture Heritage” with
its excellent achievement.
2003
Jun - airiti Inc. worked together with the National Palace
Museum, the Council for Cultural Affairs, and the Ministry of Education, in the
co-hosting of the “2003 Art Visiting Campus--Exemplifying Plan to Promote the
Digital Art Education Content”.
Aug - Both the “ Historical Image Database-- Taiwan Memory
” and the “ World Fine Arts Database ” were awarded by the Institute
for Information Industry as the Best of the “2003 The 9th Gold Study
Award---Nomination of the Excellent Social Science Education Software and
Webpage”.
Sep - Electronic Publishing Business and the Art Education Business Department
were formed.
Nov - CEPS was formally launched, making airiti the first
digital content corporation from Taiwan, Hong Kong and China to have integrated
the academic periodicals in the knowledge publishing industry.
2004
Jun - “ World Fine Art Database -- for Kid ” went alive.
Dec - “ Launched “ NPM Online---Digital Archive of China Treasures ” .
2005
“National Palace Museum Online Database” was awarded with “2005
Outstanding Digital Publication Reward” by Government Information Office,
Executive Yuan.
